and counting! |
To my Voice of Prophecy family…
We are so happy to announce that Victoria Fullbright, a vibrant young nursing student, became our one-millionth Discover Bible School graduate earlier this year! And it was all because she received a Bible study guide in her mailbox miraculously, and maybe accidently on purpose – God’s purpose! It caught her interest even though she had not requested it and she soon was looking forward to studying one lesson after another – until she completed them all and learned just so much about the Bible.

But the story doesn’t end there…
To her surprise, she received a telephone call from Kurt Johnson, head of the Discover Bible School informing her that she was the one-millionth person to graduate from our headquarters school (there are thousands of branches around the world). To find out one million people before her had also studied the Bible amazed her.
But the story doesn’t end there…
While studying the lessons, she discovered the seventh-day Sabbath - but she really didn’t want to go to church. She was too tired after studying and working all week. However, one Sabbath morning she woke up early and could not go back to sleep. Awake and without an excuse, she found the local church’s address online. She now worships regularly at her local Seventh-day Adventist Church and was baptized last December.
But the story doesn’t end there…
We had the great privilege of hearing her story at our VisionBuilder weekend in Georgia earlier this year. Although very special to us because she is our one-millionth graduate, it was her testimony that was the most thrilling. She very readily acknowledged, “I have a peace in my life, a calmness that God has given me.” She now wants others to find that same peace and security in Christ. Indeed, her life demonstrates one miracle after another!
But the story doesn’t end there…

Victoria’s miracle can happen again and again – and yet again! There are at least one million who have gone before her and maybe millions to come after – who knows how many stories and testimonies we will hear in Heaven someday. Won’t that be a thrilling experience!
And the story will never end until Jesus comes…
It is because of your gifts and your support and your prayers that we are able to provide Bible lessons and radio programs to tell others about Jesus. One million graduates already thank you – and there will be many more to come.
